GPS Steering Systems and Vehicle Control.
What is often not talked about is the difference
between GPS accuracy, and the systems ability to transfer that accuracy to the
ground, that is Vehicle control.
System 350 with AES -25
The Biggest advantage of the System 350 AGI-4 with the AES-25 electric steering option, is the addition of a wheel angle sensor. The addition of a wheel angle sensor is a proven way to give the system a feedback loop to facilitate a rapid response by the vehicle being controlled. This is how all the leading integrated and hydraulic systems get their vehicle control accuracy.
Topcon now offers this with the AES-25, Electric option, so is a big breakthrough in Electric Steering.
The System 350, AGI-4 with the AES-25 is available with GPS accuracy options from 30 cm, to 2cm RTK.
The AGI-1, AES-25, can also use the X14 console, for a more economical steering option.
